“Do I Need Therapy?”
I Witness Counseling offers a free monthly community group designed to help individuals understand when therapy may be beneficial. This is a psychoeducational group, not a therapy group, and participation does not create a client‑therapist relationship.
What this group covers:
- Understanding emotional and behavioral signs that therapy may help
- How therapy works and what to expect
- How to choose the right therapist
- How to access services in your community
- Q&A about mental health and wellness
Who this group is for:
- Individuals unsure whether therapy is right for them
- People exploring emotional wellness
- Community members seeking education and support
Important Notes:
- This is not a therapy group
- No clinical assessment or diagnosis is provided
- Participation does not obligate you to pursue services with I Witness Counseling
Attendance Requirement:
This group requires a minimum of 10 registered attendees to run. If the minimum is not met, participants will be notified and offered priority registration for the next month’s session.
